DIGITAL LIBRARY

SBC Digital Library provides access to a growing collection of online academic resources for the College community and our worldwide audience alike. Resources include distance learning courses, and innovative projects in academic environment.

The Digital Library supports institution built content of resources such as e-journals, projects & thesis papers, e-books and multimedia files. By offering immense avenues for reference and self study, the Digital library fuels the aspirations of

genuine knowledge seekers. A faculty preparing courseware for a lecture can easily attach relevant additional inputs, be it in the form of video clips or animations or text data from the digital library, invariably enriching the E-learning content. Browsing the digital library is hassle free as resource categories are based on customized taxonomy structures. The digital library also has a reference system for accepting contribution of resources from users. Library resources being completely web based can be accessed anytime, anywhere where by authorized users.

Online journals from world leaders like ELSEVIER,e-books from the pioneers like Gutenberg Project on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Humanity and Medical subjects are available to students as well as teachers inside and outside the college.

INFLIBNET is likely to be another free resource available through our digital library.      The digital library lab for the college consists of 24 wireless connected nodes in the Linux platform. Students and teachers can access this lab round the clock.
