An Equal opportunity Centre was launched in the college under the XI Plan of UGC on 14 th of October 2010 with the objective of empowering backward-marginalized- Women and minority students. The centre will conduct programmes including guidelines for academic activities like research, coaching for the Civil Services and the UGC Examinations, classes for personality development , communication skills etc. the centre will function as a platform for transmitting patriotic and secular values.
