Mary Anne John Stuttgen Research Library.

Mary Anne John was borne in Derby on 14th March, 1979. The gift of speech is something she cultivated as she grew up gaining her various public speaking and drama awards at school and college.

Mary Anne went on to study English and American literature at the University of Essex in 1997 and successfully gained her Bachelor of Arts in 2000. Her choice of degree reflected her other great passion in life which was reading which again she started from a very young age and continues to love until she left this world. With an engaging book in hand Mary Anne would be one of the hardest people to distract!

It is for this reason that her family felt it would be a fitting tribute to their beloved Mary Anne to establish this library in the many others can enjoy the pleasure of studying and reading the great books of time.
